The Hinkel family has been managing the vineyard in Framersheim, a small village in the Selztal between Alzey and Nierstein, since the 17th century. Dr. Roland Hinkel has transformed the business into a modern, innovative, and environmentally friendly operation that involves the renunciation of herbicides and pesticides and places great emphasis on sustainability in wine production. Peter Hinkel has been with the winery since 2021 and has been awarded the title of Young Winemaker of the Year by the DLG. Innovative products like the non-alcoholic Dri.Ver! highlight the upswing at the Framersheim winery.
