An excellent guide to barrier-free offers is the "Travel for All" labeling system. Here, offers are certified and labeled according to nationwide uniform criteria.

Essential information on traveling for all in Rhineland-Palatinate, in particular on the facts of the certification can be found here: Further information and certification

The first 10 applicants from the Mainz-Bingen district, who are now taking part in the "Travel for All" certification and applying, will receive a 50% subsidy for the certification fee . The certification costs 165 Euro, plus VAT and is valid for three years. Applications for a grant can be submitted informally until the end of 2018 and must be sent to:

Accessibility is an important social issue. Not only for people with disabilities, but also for the increasing number of elderly people with mobility and sensory impairments, the demand for barrier-free services is increasing. The Practitioner Guide "Sustainable Value Creation through Accessible Travel Offers" addresses companies, locations and regions as well as political decision makers and provides useful tips for the successful design of barrier-free offers.
