Join us for a special journey through time: aboard a lovingly restored traditional bus, we travel from Mainz to Ingelheim – the ride itself is already a nostalgic experience.

Upon arrival in the red wine city, an expert guided tour of the impressive Ingelheim Wine Cellar awaits you. Discover the historical building and immerse yourself in the era around 1900, when viticulture was innovating under the ideas of cooperation.

In the vaulted cellar, experience the award-winning permanent exhibition “Wine Cellar Companions.” Let the special atmosphere of bygone days enchant you and marvel at the intricately carved historical wine barrels. Their detailed depictions tell the stories of the winemakers and the events that shaped the region.
After this exciting journey into industrial and wine history, you can enjoy – in true Rheinhessen style – one or two glasses of wine and a small snack at the Ingelheim wine shop.

Afterward, the historical bus from Traditionsbusfreunde Mainz e.V. will bring you back to Mainz in a relaxed manner.
