"Industrial culture alive" at the Old Signal Box Armsheim Nord (An)

Expert and lively tours (until 5 PM) at the block and lever works and in the tensioning chamber of the signal box from 1899 bring the railway history of Rheinhessen and the work of a pointsman to life. Visitors can even "get hands-on" and operate the points and signal levers, experiencing what a pointsman had to do to "allow a train to run".
