Scandinavian Organ Sounds in Oppenheim

Scandinavia comes to Rheinhessen – musically! In the Oppenheimer Katharinenkirche, organ music from the far north meets Rheinhessen's way of life.
The organist Carl Adam Landström was born in 1983 in the southern Swedish town of Gränna. He began playing the organ at the age of ten and was accepted at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm at seventeen. Carl Adam can be heard on numerous radio and television recordings, as well as at special occasions such as the Nobel banquet. As a soloist, he is an internationally sought-after artist on the queen of instruments. In addition, he teaches organ at the Malmö College of Music. He has been awarded the scholarship from the Royal Music Academy twice.
The program features organ works by classical and contemporary Scandinavian composers.

As a conclusion to the evening, the Oppenheimer Restaurant Völker offers a refined 3-course menu. “After the concert is before the culinary delight. In line with KulturSINN: culture, church, and culinary arts,” says Rudolf Felgner, the head of the Tourism Service Center of the Verbandsgemeinde Rhein-Selz.

Concert Tickets:
Music & Culinary (Restaurant Völker) 63.00 € per person
If you would like to enjoy only the music: 18.00 €
