Wine gastronomy / Radtreff Bretz and pitches

Project description:

The winery Bretz, which is based in Bechtolsheim, plans to build a wine and food industry outside the village, on a previously unmarked bike path. In about 100 meters away, the Selztalradweg. At this a signage is to be attached, which refers to the offer "wine gastronomy Bretz".

The new facility will provide both locals and tourists with a small gastronomic offer as well as wines and other drinks. The opening is planned on the weekends, so that cycle tourists, hikers and day-trippers find an offer.

As an addition to the gastronomic offer, an accommodation offer in the form of mobile home parking spaces is to be created. In addition, the installation of an e-bike charging station is planned.

The project docks to the LEADER project "Bicycle Tourism Development Plan" and is a good supplement to the project "Kulturweg Petersberg" funded by LEADER. From the terrace of the planned wine-gastronomy one can look directly onto the Petersberg.

Objective (s) of the project:

The project contributes to the upgrading of the tourism offer in the region and contributes to the tourism development of Rheinhessen.

The gastronomic offer in Rheinhessen will be expanded, especially in a part of Rheinhessen where there are few offers. The opening hours are adapted to the demand of the targeted target groups.

The overnight accommodation in Rheinhessen is being expanded by the creation of RV sites.
