André Möckel, owner of Blue Food, is an ambitious chef who has proven his outstanding skills in several upscale restaurants as Chef Gar de Manger, Chef Poissonnier, Chef Pâtissier, Sous Chef, and most recently as Head Chef. His love for the product and dedication to perfect, simple food are now expressed in his version of street food: Blue Food – Mobile Cuisine of the Tasty Kind.
The menu of Blue Food combines cooking styles and ingredients from different culinary cultures. This includes various breakfast appetizers, burgers made from beef, veal, and wild boar, snacks such as pastrami or Asian-inspired chicken breast sandwiches, refined soups and stews, or waffles topped with powdered sugar and fresh fruit or with fried eggs and bacon as a hearty option. Naturally, all dishes, as well as bread, rolls, and the accompanying sauces and dressings, are made with the greatest craftsmanship and prepared freshly on site. Instead of being served on paper or even plastic plates, all dishes at Blue Food are presented on bamboo tableware.
