Once upon a time… a period when poets, thinkers, and ladies strolled up to Kloppberg. They followed the moat lined with an illustrious garden. There, the shadows of the trees fell on winding paths, lush flower beds were fragrant, and visitors praised the magnificent view of the romantic Rhine Valley. At the top, a picturesque castle ruin reigned. Hermann Faber, a notary in the village, created the garden around the medieval masonry and set out a visitor book. The first entry dates back to 1826. In the tower room of the castle, there is a small exhibition to commemorate the former visitors.
