The heart of the castle is the widely visible, built in 1330 water tower, which stands in the middle of the castle pond and is home to the historic library. In 1684, Georg-Philipp von Greiffenclau had the actual manor house built, to which his son had more buildings built over the years.
The Gutsrestaurant is located in the cavalier house and the adjoining orangery. The winery with centuries-old tradition since 1211 now 80 hectares of vineyards, which are planted exclusively with Riesling, managed. In addition to the possibility of daily wine shopping in the wine shop, the private rooms of the mansion offer an exceptional setting for events.
