The Oriental Heisje
Here you can see a stout little house with a barrel roof, which was also commissioned by Unterfauth Hirschel in 1766. It consists of three walls, with the door opening facing south. The door frame is a special feature, as it hints at the shape of an onion tower.

"Stahl" = old Thing site / assembly place of the Germans
It is worth noting that a Thing site, that is, a court or advisory site in Rheinhessen cannot be categorized, as it was a Germanic popular court assembly location.
However, Rheinhessen was inhabited by the Romans and later by the Franks, who, in turn, were unfamiliar with Thing sites.
When the Franks expanded their power center across the Rhine, they prohibited this first form of democracy.
It can be assumed that the term refers to the jurisdiction of Westhofen.
