17th Gau-Algesheim Alagast Run – Running Together, Experiencing Together!

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, it’s time again for sports, fun, and community at the Alagast Run in Gau-Algesheim! Around the Schloss Ardeck, an exciting running event with a special flair awaits you.

Whether beginner or pro – the Alagast Run offers the right route for everyone. Run through the charming Gau-Algesheim and experience the unique atmosphere of this popular event. This year, around 600 to 700 runners are expected to create an authentic competitive atmosphere together.

Highlights of the 17th Alagast Run:

• Diverse Routes: From the Bambini Run (children’s run) to the main races – there’s something for every fitness level.
• Family-Friendly: The little runners will also have a great time!
• Relay Competition 4 × 2.5 km: Form your team and compete together in an exciting relay race.
• Officially Measured Route: The 2.5 km loop is officially measured and certified by the German Athletics Association (DLV) – all times are eligible for best lists.
• Culinary Refreshments: Enjoy regional delicacies and the relaxed atmosphere at our running party.
• Great Atmosphere: Whether on the course or at the joint conclusion – here, it’s not just about the time, but especially about the fun!

Organized by SV 1910 Gau-Algesheim, the Alagast Run will again be a sporting highlight for the whole family, friends, and everyone who enjoys movement in 2026.
