Pur is a phenomenon. For over 30 years, the Swabian band led by singer Hartmut Engler has maintained its presence in the music business – and still captivates the masses. Few bands are discussed as controversially as PUR. Nevertheless, with over 12 million records sold and sold-out tours, PUR is one of the most successful, if not the most successful, German band. For almost 10 years, there has been an alternative for all PUR concert enthusiasts who don’t want to miss out on PUR during the infamous and far too long PUR concert breaks: Abenteuerland – The PUR Cover Band.
