Art Exhibition "Body Destinies"

On Ascension Day, the gates of the Bernhardt Foundation's courtyard will open for a major solo exhibition by the Rheinhessen artist Achim Ribbeck. His sculptures deal with the human body, its movements, and possibilities.
The latest works are colorful concave sculptures that play with human perception and seem to move in astonishing ways alongside the viewer. This phenomenon can be wonderfully experienced on site in the exhibition. In addition to the impressive sculptures in various dimensions, numerous paintings and graphics will also be on display, some of which also pertain to the "image of man," while others address the timeless proportions of geometric bodies or exciting color compositions.

The exhibition is open from May 14 to June 14 on all weekends, Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sundays and Pentecost Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The opening reception on Thursday, May 14 at 4:00 p.m. will be musically accompanied by Constantin Mandel at the cocktail piano. Artist Achim Ribbeck will offer guided tours on four themes: on May 17 "Experience and Movement" / on May 25 "Light and Color" / on May 31 "Body and Space" / on June 7 "Concave Art" (each at 4:00 p.m.).
Admission is free; donations are welcome. The village support association for the community of Undenheim will provide visitors with drinks and snacks from the pretzel oven.
