Just Dreamed – An Evening with the Shellac Soloists
1920s Meet Hits of the New German Wave

With a very special program mix, the Shellac Soloists led by Dennis Wittberg will present their year-end show on Tuesday, December 29th, at 8:00 p.m. in the Loge at the Haus des Gastes. The ten-member ensemble will bring together the world-famous evergreens of the 1920s with the titles of the New German Wave from the 1970s and 1980s under the motto “Just Dreamed – An Evening to Be Happy, of Course.”

The mixture full of flair offers entertainer and master of ceremonies Wittberg as well as his orchestra the opportunity to pull out all the stops: All songs swing, fox trot, sway with tango rhythms, and waltz into the ear canals. Fine humor is cultivated at a high musical level.

The Shellac Soloists have been celebrating musical wit, pointed stylistic confidence in tails, and a slightly cool charm since 2003 on many stages live, but also in numerous television appearances, and have dedicated themselves to the cheeky and profound repertoire of the 1920s. They look beyond the horizon and discover kindred spirits in some titles of the New German Wave.

The audience can look forward to the new arrangements by Martin S. Schmidt, Jens Hunstein, and Jörg Walter Gerlach, which give the music evening with vocals, piano, percussion, trumpets, trombones, saxophone, and violin a distinctive flair.

Tickets are priced at €29, with a guest card €26. They are available at the Tourist Info in the Haus des Gastes, Kurhausstraße 22-24 (at the thermal bath) or online at www.ticket-regional.de.
