Die Geschichte des Weinbaus in Mainz-Hechtsheim

The winegrowing has a long tradition in the Mainz district of Hechtsheim. During a guided tour of the old town center of Hechtsheim, cultural and wine ambassador Jörg-Michael Meschkat explains the history of winegrowing in this district from the Middle Ages to modern times. At the end of the guest tour, there is an optional opportunity to visit one of the typical Hechtsheim wine taverns (at your own expense).
