Die Weibsbilder: Unbemannt

What? You're still not married? What? You don’t have any children yet? Such questions are often faced by the two women over 40, the main performers of the cabaret duo Weibsbilder. However, the usually quick-witted ladies Anke Brausch and Claudia Thiel do not have suitable answers in this case. They’ve certainly kissed enough frogs, but none of them want to turn into princes. So it’s not for lack of effort, but it’s hard to row into the harbor of marriage without paddles.

Before the two of them, like the Titanic, slowly but surely run aground, they prefer to take matters into their own hands and set out to find happiness. They no longer want to live as leftovers, as off-cuts, or even as remaining stock. In their stage show, they again bring along popular on-stage characters, such as little Tineke, who wants to find the right man for Mom in the audience, a really great guy who accepts mother and child just as they are. Their relationship-challenged mother Britta, meanwhile, is holding a seminar on "Finding a Partner" with the former 68er, urine-drinking Gundula.

The Eifel farmer Christel Müller from Kalenborn - Scheuern, on the other hand, is so desperate that she is seeking her fortune on television. Whether it’s a cooking show, an advertisement, or the news, she would do just about anything. Viewers can therefore expect two exciting and entertaining hours. The two Weibsbilder are certainly not gossiping; they just note and investigate questions like: What did married couples do before the invention of television? Do married people really live longer or does it just seem that way to them?
