What's blooming over there? The cultural and wine ambassadors invite you to a spring hike on April 18, 2026.
We will embark on a journey of discovery through the awakening nature. Together we will hike through the fields and fragrant fruit landscapes of Finthen, Drais, and Wackernheim, allowing ourselves to be enchanted by delicate buds, bright flowers, and the fresh green of spring. In addition to information about the various fruit varieties, there will be entertaining stories and poems. The wonderful view over the Rhine Valley and the Rheinhessen hill country can also be enjoyed. As a small refreshment for the journey, we will have pretzels, fruit sparkling wine, fruit juice, and water in our luggage.
Please remember to wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear for the hike, which is about 10 km long. The route will take us over uneven field paths, so a basic level of fitness is required.
The meeting point for the hike is at 1:00 PM, at the Old Finther Market Hall, Kurmainzstraße, bus lines 55, 56, 71.
Participation costs €15, including a pretzel, fruit sparkling wine, fruit juice, and water.
The hike will end around 5 PM.
