Führungen im ehemaligen Regierungsbunker der Landesregierung Rheinland-Pfalz

A state secret can be visited – this rather unusual opportunity arises with guided tours of the former government bunker of the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The next event weekend will take place on November 7 and 8, 2026. As part of one-hour tours, the structure and purpose of this location will be explained. Registrations are possible immediately. The tours will also answer the question of how the bunker came to be under the school gymnasium. The history of this location also includes the fact that in 2024, for the first time, 60-year-old classified documents of the state government regarding their bunker were evaluated. An exclusive process and currently only two areas have knowledge of the content: the responsible Interior Ministry in Mainz and the organizers of the bunker weekend in early November in Alzey. Tours thus provide insights into processes that are officially still classified as "top secret".
