The basilica dedicated to St. Lambert, built by the Worms school of architecture, mostly dates from the 12th century and has retained its original appearance for over 1,000 years. Notable features of the three-nave basilica and former pilgrimage church include the choir stage, the pilgrim corridor beneath it, carvings by the builders, and wall paintings from the 14th century.
