Brigitte Fischer - lives and works in Lindenberg/Neustadt. In addition to her art and music educational/therapeutic work, she has devoted more time in recent years to her own artistic development.
In the process, two main lines have emerged:
Figurative painting – people and animals in rather surreal relationships to one another. It’s about density, closeness, scenes, illuminated as if on a stage... On the other hand, her interest has increasingly also been directed towards abstract compositions . Expressive, dynamic surfaces, densifications and transparency, overlaps - depth, mystery, transformation emerge.
Using the technique of collage, glazes, and putties with pigments, partly with wax, the abstract paintings are developed in many steps.
Often also as series that vary the theme. Color moods, a certain rhythm with gestural lines, and an accumulation of different surfaces create depth. Associative aids from nature arise partly during the painting process. It results in poetry without words, comparable to a musical composition. The play with line and surface, the light reflections of colors, we experience when observing and immerse ourselves in the vastness of the space. The pairs of images correspond and complement each other or vary the theme. Music accompanies and inspires the painting process. The artistic thinking is intuitive; an energetic balance arises between sensitivity and immediate reaction.
