Life is too short to wallow in sorrow. But how on earth is one supposed to maintain hope in times like these? People have always dreamed themselves into paradise or painted the world in the most beautiful colors, even though real life often told different stories. Paradise is elsewhere. It’s high time to give hope a boost, as it cheerfully holds on to life somewhere between longing and world flight. For the next witty and insightful evening of conversation at KulturGut in collaboration with the Protestant parish, special individuals have come together again to engage in conversation with Pastor Markus Krieger. Education expert and art connoisseur Jakob Hoffmann from Frankfurt will open up significant glimpses into paradise through various artworks. From the perspective of a physician, we hope to hear about the narrow balance between hope and fear at the operating table, and SWR presenter Martin Seidler will talk about the challenges of the perfect television world, bringing his personal hopeful texts and selected poems of the guests to the audience. Musically supported by the two KulturGUT creators Elke Diepenbeck and Roland Kalus. All of this with free admission or a voluntary donation in favor of the Tafel e.V. in Alzey.
