Step on board and enjoy a very special time travel experience: In a lovingly restored traditional bus, you will travel from Mainz to Ingelheim – the journey itself will already be a nostalgic experience.

Upon arrival in Ingelheim, you will trace the footsteps of the rulers of the early Middle Ages. You will visit the impressive remnants of the imperial palace – one of the best-preserved medieval palatial complexes in Europe. Here, history comes alive: from this significant place, Charlemagne directed the affairs of his empire, held assemblies, and united secular and spiritual power.

Immerse yourself in a time when Ingelheim was a center of European history, and let yourself be captivated by the unique atmosphere of this place.
After the historical impressions, you can enjoy – in true Rheinhessen style – one or even two glasses of wine and a tasty snack at the Mett and Weidenbach wine estate.

Afterwards, the historic bus of the Traditionsbusfreunde Mainz e.V. will bring you back to Mainz in a relaxed manner.
