Grand Central Bigband - A Tribute to Roger Cicero

An evening of masterclass - Roger Cicero Tribute with Kai Podack and the Grand Central Bigband.

The Jazz Club Rheinhessen e.V. is hosting a Roger Cicero tribute concert with the Grand Central Bigband on June 6, 2026. It starts at 8 PM in the St. Georgenhalle in Partenheim. Admission is €20.

2026 marks the tenth anniversary of Roger Cicero's passing. A good reason to commemorate his musical legacy with an evening full of soul, swing, and emotions. Kai Podack, a celebrated jazz singer known from the a cappella group Fünf, once again combines his passion for Cicero’s music with milestones of the big band genre in this tribute concert. In addition to the greatest hits of the exceptional artist Roger Cicero, attendees can look forward to selected songs by Frank Sinatra – tracks that unmistakably inspired Cicero’s style.

The Grand Central Bigband provides rich sound, brilliant arrangements, and authentic big band feeling. The combination of musical excellence, authentic stage presence, and a touch of humor makes the concert an emotional highlight for everyone involved – and promises an evening that will resonate long afterward.
