Large Vintage Tasting

The young wines of the 2024 vintage will be presented in the cozy atmosphere of the Poppenschenke in Alzey-Weinheim. The tasting is free and takes place in the good parlor of traditional wine gastronomy. In addition to the excellent homemade sausage, there will also be special delicacies from Doris and her team on that day. Furthermore, the popular cellar tours will take place in the historic ice cellar. Julius will share everything about the extraction of ice in the 19th century up to its current use for storing top wines. The wine sales will be open all day, allowing wines to be taken home immediately. The tasting ends at 4 PM, and the Poppenschenke will remain open as usual. Here, one can peacefully let the evening wind down.
