Nine Days of Wine, Music and Enjoyment
In 2026, the Ingelheim Red Wine Festival celebrates its 80th anniversary. From September 26 to October 4, the Ingelheim winemakers invite you to the historic grounds around the Burgkirche. There, visitors can discover current vintages and selected wines in a special atmosphere.
In addition to wine and regional specialties, an exciting program with live music and entertainment awaits. The festival provides an opportunity to spend pleasant hours together, make new contacts, and enjoy the culinary diversity of Rheinhessen.

Excellent Wine Festival Quality
The Ingelheim Red Wine Festival is one of the renowned wine festivals in Rheinhessen. Since 2014, it has been awarded the seal “Excellent Wine Festival”. Rheinhessenwein GmbH grants this distinction to events that meet high standards for wine offerings, food, and quality of stay.
A popular meeting point is the red wine fountain operated by the Ingelheim Vinothek. It showcases the diversity of the Ingelheim wine landscape and invites tasting. The offering ranges from Secco and white wine to rosé and characterful Ingelheim red wines. Wines from the selection of the 25 Vinotheken wineries are served.

Special Events

Travel to the Red Wine Festival
As parking spaces near the festival grounds are limited and the event venue is located in a residential area, we recommend using public transportation. Use public transport, regional bus lines, or the train.
Additional parking options can be found in the New Center near the train station. The available parking spaces are signposted.

Free with Bus and Train
With the FAIRTIQ app, you can travel free of charge all day by bus and train within the RNN cell 320 through Ingelheim. Gau-Algesheim is excluded from this offer.
