Midnight Lightnin’ from Ljubljana are much more than a Hendrix cover band: The power trio takes Jimi Hendrix’s songs and playing techniques as a starting point for explosive improvisations and their own soundscapes. Between blues, rock’n’roll, and psychedelic guitar sounds, an energy-packed show full of surprises emerges.
