Heinz Erhardt captivates generations with his unique wordplay and timeless humor. What is surprising even for connoisseurs: The comedian composed classical piano music!
Only a few years ago, long after the father's death, the children of Heinz Erhardt found a box with handwritten compositions in the extensive estate of their father in the attic. This discovery was a real sensation!
Heinz Erhardt was the son of a conductor and actually wanted to become a pianist. Between the ages of 16 and 20, he composed a series of preludes, dances, and character pieces, some of which are expressively romantic while others showcase the witty charm of his poems.
Wolfgang Nieß connects these astonishing little masterpieces of Heinz Erhardt with matching cheerful poems as well as interesting insights into the biography of this great humorist.
