Herbs, and especially the nutrient-rich wild herbs, have been in vogue for a long time. Herbal medicine (phytotherapy) is often applied in daily life, not least the popularity of the healthy (green) smoothie shows that “healthy” herbs are also beloved when it comes to enjoyment. But does one really know what they are doing?
During this herbal hike led by the phytotherapist and alternative practitioner Christina Mann on June 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Eckelsheim, the focus is on the basic knowledge needed to truly use (wild) herbs correctly. Why, for example, is the root of dandelion harvested as a healthy bitter drug only in autumn, but for a delicious coffee, it can also be harvested in spring? And why must a lid be placed on the cup for peppermint tea, but not for St. John's wort tea?
What?, When?, Where? And Why? will be discussed... and above all: How? are the plants processed so that the active ingredients can actually be utilized? And last but not least: What mistakes should be urgently avoided?
The meeting point is the Herbula Herb School in Eckelsheim, Hauptstr. 7-9, on June 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
Cost: €14.00/person.
