Geologische Kräuterwanderung & Hexentapas

The most special herb hike of the Siefersheimer herb witches, namely to the 30 million year old Siefersheim coastal region, will take place on August 2, 2026, at 10.30 a.m. A journey through the geological past of Rheinhessen. Spectacular rhyolite washouts, ancient herbal knowledge, and prehistoric geological phenomena will be explained entertainingly. The "Siefersheimer herb witches," who act as ambassadors for the "Rheinhessische Schweiz" and their local community, have many anecdotes and stories about old and nearly forgotten knowledge to share. A culinary end to the hike, featuring witch tapas and summery Secco, is planned in the green courtyard of the Old Wine Estate Moebus.
Meeting point is on 02.08.2026, at 10.30 a.m. in the center of Siefersheim (bus stop).
