Stars Shining in the Winter Sky
Workshop
Whether simple and monochromatic or as colorful as a rainbow: window stars made of translucent silk and tracing paper make their impact through strictly symmetrical shapes. Using various folding techniques, impressive star shapes are created that glow differently depending on the light at the window, yet all are equally enchanting.
In the Creative Lab, the focus is on experimenting with various craft techniques and letting your creativity run wild. During the winter semester of 2026/27, these expert-led workshops will revolve around the imaginative use of a special material: From translucent tracing paper to sturdy cardboard, fiber-based materials like paper and cardboard have very different properties that can be used to create amazing effects. Whether semi-transparent or opaque, malleable or rigid, the individually designed results are small works of art that their owners—or the recipients of these gifts—are sure to enjoy for a long time to come.
