Mainz leuchtet - das Late Light Festival

Experience Mainz shines – The Late Light Festival 2026 from September 24 to 26, 2026, in the city center of Mainz. During these three days, prominent buildings such as St. Martin's Cathedral, the Mainz State Theater, and the Rheingoldhalle will be transformed into new light through impressive light and video projections.

These installations, conceived by students of Mainz University of Applied Sciences, tell visually captivating stories and are accompanied by emotional music. In addition, there will be a diverse supporting program with offerings from gastronomy, retail, and culture that transforms the city center of Mainz into a glowing experience.
