Nature Walk in Schwabenheim

Discover the diversity right at your doorstep! Dr. Carsten Renker from the Natural History Museum Mainz will showcase the small and big wonders along the way during a guided tour lasting about 1.5 hours.

Starting from the marketplace, you will walk along the outskirts of the village: wild herbs, colorful flowers, buzzing insects, and perhaps a rare bird. Continuing to the idyllic Selz river, you will learn more about the plants and animals by the stream. The circular route ends back in the village – with new impressions and a deeper connection to nature.

This hike is more than just a walk: it's an experience of wonder, discovery, and reflection.
