When Reggatta de Blanc formed as a THE POLICE tribute band in 1988, no one suspected that there was someone in this world whose voice not only resembles that of Police frontman Sting, but is almost identical. "A pure, but beautiful coincidence," thought Reggatta singer Michael Griese during his first rehearsal with the guys in April '88. For Griese, to this day, it remains a special and valuable gift for him.

Meanwhile, several years have passed, over 1,500 concerts have been played in various clubs and open airs across the country and abroad, showcasing everything that Sting has brought to paper over the last 40 years. After all, we must not forget that the former teacher from northern England continued as a solo artist after his time with The Police from 1985 onward, releasing countless hits. There are only a few artists in this world who have a similarly comparable success story and have gifted the world so many hits. The success story of The Police began in 1978 with the classic "Roxanne," followed by, to name just a few, "So Lonely" and "Message in a Bottle" as well as "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," culminating in the trio's last album in Sting's most successful work, "Every Breath You Take."
