Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band

“Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel can consider themselves lucky to have such an authentic band that satisfies the longing for the old times.” This is how the Hockenheimer Tageszeitung described the Simon and Garfunkel Revival Band. The Simon & Garfunkel Revival Band is not an attempt to copy the legendary American folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

Rather, the revival band manages to interpret the music of their idols so authentically that with closed eyes one might think the two originals were physically present on stage. As for their appearance, Michael Frank and Guido Reuter, however, show their own facets and say of themselves: “We don’t want to stick on fake beards and wear ridiculous costumes. We’re here for the Simon and Garfunkel sound.” And the two musicians from Erfurt bring this sound to the stage with feeling and a lot of flair, along with their bandmates, into the ears of the audience.

They definitely don’t leave out the party factor in the faster numbers and have made it their goal to get the audience grooving once again.
