Stadthistorischer Rundgang: "Fehlfarbe Grün"

A special aspect of the city's history is the focus of this historical walking tour on Friday, the 2nd of October 2026. It explores the loss of green spaces in the cityscape over the course of the 19th and 20th centuries through historical comparison. The tour through the downtown area, led by Drs. Eva Heller-Karneth and Rainer Karneth, lasts about two hours, from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
The meeting and starting point is in front of the Alzey Museum.
The organizers of the tour, which requires a minimum of 10 participants, are the Antiquities Association for Alzey and the surrounding area e.V., the Alzey-Worms County VHS, and the Alzey Museum.
The participation fee is €6.00 per person and is to be paid at the beginning of the tour.
