Expert guided tours of the block and lever works and in the tensioning room of the listed signal box from 1899 bring the railway history of Rheinhessen and the work of a switchman to life.
Visitors can "get hands-on" and operate the switch and signal levers, experiencing what a switchman had to do to "let a train go."
