Day of Open Monuments at the Old Signal Box Armsheim North (Venue): "Industrial Culture Alive".

Expert and lively tours (until 5 PM) at the block and lever mechanism and in the tensioning room of the signal box from 1899 bring the history of the Rhine-Hessian railway and the work of a switchman to life. Visitors can even "get hands-on" and operate switch and signal levers, thus experiencing what a switchman had to do to "allow a train to depart".
