The Protestant Church of Gau-Köngernheim (a current district of Gau-Odernheim) was first mentioned in 1272 as St. Dionysius Church. Throughout its history, it has been remodeled several times. It is situated in the village, elevated amid the former cemetery with a surrounding wall and historical tombstones, as well as remnants of a botanical garden from the 19th century. Noteworthy inside is the angel painting by Damaris Wurmdobler.
