“As the hottest band east of Chicago,” the 11 musicians from the Bonn/Cologne area describe themselves. Since 2002, "Heart & Soul" have guaranteed an unforgettable live experience with their unique "Blues Brothers Tribute Band." With a high-energy program on stage that is second to none, they perform the music from the two cult films of the Blues Brothers.

When razor-sharp horn sections, crashing guitars, a roaring Hammond organ, grooving drums, and a pulsating bass thunder out of the speakers and the Blues Brothers in their black suits, ties, hats, and glasses take the stage, then "Heart & Soul".... are once again on the road in the service of the Lord.

From "Sweet Home Chicago" to "Soulman," from "Everybody Needs Somebody" to "Jailhouse Rock" - no hit from the cult band is missing. For more than two hours, the unique "Soul, Rhythm & Blues and Blues Revue" by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd comes back to life. Honest handmade music and the original Blues Brothers outfit are the unmistakable trademarks of the band. In addition to "Jake" and "Elwood," four horn players, two guitarists, an organ, as well as bass and drums ensure this. The band always has their "Aretha" on hand, who heats things up for the guys on and off stage with "Respect" and "Think."

“Heart & Soul” give everything just like the original! With over 300 concerts and unparalleled joy of playing and an energy-charged stage show, the band has made a name for itself and captivates audiences across Europe. They have even reached the highest circles with their show and were "recruited" by Peter Struck, then Minister of Defense, after a birthday performance in Berlin for a troop visit. At unforgettable concerts, the Blues Minister rocked with "Heart & Soul" in front of thousands of international soldiers in Serbia and Kosovo.

“Heart & Soul” has already performed with numerous international and national show acts and artists, such as Kool and The Gang, Bläck Fööss, Anke Engelke, Right Said Fred, Boney M., Chico & The Gypsies, The King, Supercharge, Ingo Insterburg, Ingo Apelt, or the music legend Spencer Davis. The band is also regularly seen at city festivals (e.g., Port Birthday in Hamburg, Maschsee Festival in Hannover), large events (e.g., World Youth Day, Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring), and of course, all kinds of celebrations (Federal Press Ball, Fun Kölsch Carnival, company party for Markus Maria Profitlich in Phantasialand, to name just a few). Furthermore, the band, like their film idols, has returned to their roots multiple times. During the "Jailhouse Tour," they have performed concerts in unusual locations in front of uncommon audiences – unfortunately without public access.

In their social engagement, "Heart & Soul" take the good side of Jake and Elwood as their role model and repeatedly engage in charity concerts for various social causes, such as the German Childhood Cancer Aid, orphanages, support associations in schools, and animal welfare organizations. Additionally, the band has been supporting an orphanage in Prizren with a sponsorship since their concert there.
