What does one actually need to be truly content? A small cottage by the sea, the scent of salt in the air, and each other? Or perhaps the throne of a king and power over the sun? In our musical reinterpretation of the Grimm classic, we accompany the fisherman Bo and his wife Ilsebill on a journey between modesty and the intoxication of infinity. When a magical fish appears, it suddenly seems that every wish can be fulfilled. But as the castles grow larger and the crowns heavier, one crucial question arises: Does “always more” really lead to happiness?

A gripping piece about greed, the feeling of never being good enough, and the brave search for happiness in simplicity. With specially composed music, imaginative costumes, and child-friendly interaction, you can look forward to a captivating theater experience for the whole family!
