From the Nine-Pipe Fountain and the Drunken Blacksmith - City Tour through Wörrstadt -
The tour through Wörrstadt begins with a glass of Secco at the market square, Jahnstraße 15, Wörrstadt. Passing through the historic ditch by the Schiller Monument, we head to the old church with its sights, and then to the remains of the Wörrstadt Castle. The medieval, uniquely well-preserved double rampart ditch brings the old, typical town fortifications to life. The subsequent Bleichenviertel recalls the medieval professions of cloth processing. Continuing along the ditch, we pass the Rheinland Monument and encounter the original bell ringer, as well as the drunken blacksmith with their amusing stories. To conclude, we visit the Nine-Pipe Fountain with its exciting history and fountain chamber.
The participation fee is €10.00 per person, including a welcome wine.
