For a long time, the grandma of Klaus the mouse from the Mouse Tower has wished to visit Bingen again after a long time.

She was still a young little mouse when she last visited Bingen. In the meantime, she became a mother, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to many little mouse children and found her home on the Mouse Tower Island. Everyone lovingly calls her Grandma Emmi.

But this year, she will dare to embark on her big adventure and cross over to the other side to visit Bingen, her destination - the city center.

Klaus, her great-great-grandson, told her about the great Christmas activities in the city, the wonderful treats, and some events she could hardly believe. Klaus and his friends befriended a talking little fir tree that was wandering around in Bingen last year. What is Christmas, anyway? Can someone explain that to her?

As Grandma Emmi becomes the Christmas mouse, she sets out to explore Bingen from below and from the mice's perspective. She has many anecdotes to share and hopes that many interested mouse friends will accompany her, as Grandma Emmi does not like to be alone.
