Weihnachten. Anders Gehört.

Christmas is sound. It is familiar melodies, memories, and stories – and at the same time the chance to hear the known anew.
With the instrumental ensemble CHANTAL, an extraordinary Christmas program returns to the concert stage. An evening that combines musical tradition with surprising tones and makes Christmas from different cultures and centuries audible and tangible.
Central to the event is concert Christmas music from nine countries. Traditional tunes from various epochs and cultural spaces meet artistic arrangements and the unmistakable sound language of the ensemble Chantal. Medieval melodies, baroque sounds, European Christmas carols, and South American tunes combine with musical traditions from the Celtic cultural area, which will expand the program for the new edition in 2026.

The instrumental ensemble CHANTAL invites you to take a moment to pause for an evening and experience Christmas from a different perspective:
Music from nine countries. Stories full of warmth and memory. Extraordinary instruments. And a sound that allows you to rediscover familiar Christmas music.
After the successful revival as a Heritage project in 2025, the program will again be made accessible to a larger audience in 2026 and 2027.
