Weihnachtskonzert mit dem Landespolizeiorchester Rheinland-Pfalz

Music for a good cause. For more than half a century, the State Police Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate has been a sympathetic ambassador for the Rhineland-Palatinate police and a musical representative of the state on the Rhine and Moselle. Founded in 1953 as the "Police Music Corps," the symphonic wind orchestra quickly established itself as an ideal link between citizens and the police. Through guest performances throughout Germany and in foreign European countries, as well as numerous appearances on radio and television, the Police Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate has achieved a special level of recognition.
The repertoire of the 37 professional musicians is as diverse as the orchestra's tasks. It ranges from classical symphonic music to contemporary original literature and from traditional march music to entertainment music.
