Demeter wines and French cheese culture united

We, Stéphanie and Johann Schnell, warmly invite you to a special evening of enjoyment at our Vinothek Geheimrat Schnell in Guntersblum. Look forward to a moderated wine and cheese evening where characterful biodynamic Demeter wines meet the diversity and refinement of French cheese culture.

From the extensive range of our “Fromagerie chez Stéphanie,” you can expect a selection of six French cheese specialties. In total, the selection comprises around 80 different cow, sheep, and goat cheeses from selected dairies in France (market at the winery in Guntersblum every second Friday of the month - dates see www.schnellwein.de). Each cheese tells its own story - shaped by origin, tradition, and handcrafted production.

In line with this, the winemaker presents selected sparkling wines and wines from his biodynamic wine collection. Together, we will discover how wine and cheese harmonize and complement each other in terms of flavor. We will also provide insights into the philosophy of our ecologically managed winery, share anecdotes from the vineyard and cellar, and impart interesting facts about the peculiarities of French cheese culture.

We will guide you through the evening in a relaxed and personal atmosphere. Afterwards, you will also have the opportunity to purchase a selection of our organic wines as well as various cheese specialties directly on site.
