Zum Nachtisch Museum: Seitenweise schöne Worte: Poesiealben aus Alzey

“In every corner love should be found” – anyone who remembers the sight of this little saying on a white page will feel very much at home at the Museum Dessert on March 17, 2026.
Together we will explore the development of the poetry album as we know it, from the emergence of guest books at the beginning of the 16th century to the present day. We will also take a closer look at friendship and memory books from Alzey and the surrounding area. Numerous meticulously designed pages, often adorned with shiny pictures, testify to affection, friendship, and love. From time to time, we find teachings on virtue and morality that may no longer align with our current understanding.
"Museum Dessert" will take place on March 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Alzey Museum.
