And from the end of April 2026, the motto will be: From 9 to 14:
The 14 Hiwweltours invite you to experience Rheinhessen actively and up close. Covering distances of 6 to 14 kilometres, these certified circular hiking trails lead through a landscape full of openness, enjoyment, and special views. “Hiwwel” – the Rheinhessen dialect word for “hill” – perfectly captures what makes these tours so unique: gentle elevations, impressive panoramas, and the region’s relaxed way of life.
Sometimes the route takes you through sunny vineyards, sometimes along natural paths, past fields, small villages, and truly favourite spots. Along the way, the Hiwweltours combine outdoor activity with cultural discoveries, regional enjoyment, and the special charm of Rheinhessen.
This makes every tour a little break from everyday life – authentic, varied, and full of beautiful moments.
And if you do not want to wait until the end of April: there are already at least 9 good reasons to start “hiwweln” now:
