Restaurant Eppard in the 100 Guldenmühle

For sustainability in wine tourism, the restaurant Eppard is awarded in the 100 guilder mill in Appenheim. A more than 150 years old historic flour mill is located in the restored old mill complex in an idyllic location. At the junction of no less than eight hiking and biking trails through the region, regional-Mediterranean dishes are served with wines from Appenheim and the region. Sustainability and quality are not only reflected in the choice of products, but also in the preservation of the fabric of the building and thus of Rheinhessen's identity. Reason enough for the jury to acknowledge the commitment of Eva Eppard with a Best of Award.
