With Uschi from Mainz and Lennart from Berlin we go on a road trip through the wine experience region Rheinhessen - experience seven episodes full of stories with wine, country and people! In the 7th episode of their road trip, Uschi and Lennart leave their Bulli to go hiking. On one of nine Hiwwelt tours in Rheinhessen.
The Hiwweltour Heideblick leads around Siefersheim and takes Uschi and Lennart directly to Andreas Seyberth in the vineyards.
The organic winemaker is harvesting the grapes and is happy about help, because he reads a very special wine, a Rheinhessen Silvaner from the Selection Rheinhessen. It is characterized by classic grape varieties, old vineyards, reduced yields and fully ripe grapes.
After the harvest, Uschi and Lennart come to the Winzeralm of the Rhenish Hessian winery Zimmermanns. Finally, we look back on their journey through Rheinhessen together.
