You will find a "little peace of tuscany in rinehessen" in the idyllic Bodenheim, 8 km south of Mainz. This spot is famous for its wine-festivals, old taverns and "Straußwirtschaften" (seasonal wine inns). Our carefully restored estate (1852) is centrally located near the train station. The country-house style hotel rooms are convenient and cozy. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the conservatory or on the kitchen-garden´s terrace. Enjoy out fresh home-style cooking in the basement vault with the feature fireplace or outside on the patio in the shadows of old chestnut trees. International wines, draft beer and a large assortment of schnapps and brandies will lighten up your meal. Enjoy the Finnish sauna in the old green house and relax in the calm of a day´s end while watching the stars in the sky. For private or business events we offer various function rooms for up to 150 guests whether you hold a wedding, birthday party, company event or a meeting. Young children may use our playground.
